Coastal Rail Scales has been established with the customer in mind, with fast on-time rail scale certification and testing. Our combination of supplying the best customer service with fair and competitive pricing will quickly earn customer respect and loyalty. Safety is our number one priority. All CRS employees are TWIC and safety council (HASC) certified and randomly drug tested per DOT specifications. CRS is fully licensed and insured (COI is available upon request and will be issued with vendor packet).
Coastal Rail Scales is a registered rail road track scale testing company following National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) Handbook 44 and AAR Scale Handbook. CRS is registered to do business in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi. CRS is a proud member of ISNetworld and Avetta. CRS will contact your local state agency with the date and time of the test so they can be present if desired to conduct and witness the test.
Coastal Rail Scales will test your rail road track scales using 80,000LBS combined certified weights and test cart. CRS is completely mobile utilizing two tractor trailers to transport the weight and test cart. A knuckle boom crane is used to unload the cart and weights for testing. Once the test is finished, customer will be issued a certificate of calibration, and equipment is quickly loaded up and removed.
